Linking Dreams, Building Realities

Nueva Realidad: Empowering Latin American Communities

Greetings! I'm Jessica Carranco, the proud owner of Nueva Realidad, a non-profit organization committed to supporting Latin American individuals in the Mooresville area by connecting them with vital community resources and services. Our mission is simple yet profound: we strive to empower individuals by facilitating their access to essential support through compassionate and culturally attuned assistance.

Meet Jessica

Jessica's journey into service began at the age of 12, when her parents encouraged her to volunteer at their church's children's ministry. It was here that she cultivated values of patience and potential, igniting her passion for serving others. Teaching Spanish-speaking children in the church opened Jessica's eyes to the isolation they felt due to the lack of Spanish-speaking leaders. For six years, she spearheaded a new program catering to Latin American families, providing ministry and teachings in their native language.

Throughout high school, Jessica's commitment to service only grew stronger. She joined various volunteer clubs like the National Honor Society and Junior Civitan, immersing herself in a multitude of community initiatives. From organizing food drives and clothing donations to assisting non-profits and hosting events for special needs children, Jessica's dedication knew no bounds.

Yet, it was during the COVID-19 pandemic that Jessica's resolve was truly tested. Witnessing Latin American families in her community facing eviction due to financial hardships struck a chord within her. Determined to make a difference, Jessica enrolled in the Stiletto Boss University Program, eager to learn how to create lasting change.

Driven by her desire to uplift underrepresented communities, Jessica founded "Nueva Realidad," a business aimed at providing support to Latin American individuals facing barriers such as illness, language barriers, and lack of representation. For Jessica, "Nueva Realidad" represents not just a business, but a beacon of hope and empowerment for those in need.
